QUICK TIPS FOR AFTER BATTERY INSTALLATION

WHY INVERTERS GO OFFILINE FREQUENTLY?

Most inverters GoOffiine Because...

Most solar inverters only support 2.4GHz WiFi, not 5GHz.
When both frequencies share the same network name (SSID), the inverter may accidentally connect to the wrong band, causing frequent dropouts or offline issues.

Quick Tip
For the most stable performance, we recommend splitting your WiFi into two separate networks:

  • 2.4GHz Network – connect your inverter here (better range and compatibility)

  • 5GHz Network – for your phones, laptops, and other high-speed devices

Separating the two networks makes it easier for the inverter to stay connected, reducing communication errors and ensuring your system reports data smoothly.

QUICK FIX

  1. Go to your router settings→find"Wireless Settingsor "WiFiOptions"
  2. Then turn off "Dual Band Steering /Smart Connect"or enable "Split 2.4/5GHz" mode.

Solar Feed-In Recommendations

To maximise the value of your solar system, we recommend checking the feed-in tariff (FIT) offered by your electricity retailer. The feed-in tariff is the rate you get paid for sending excess solar energy back to the grid.

Our recommendations:

  • Choose a retailer with a competitive FIT, ideally one that suits your daily usage pattern. Higher FIT rates can reduce your electricity bills significantly if you export a lot of energy.

  • Compare overall plan conditions, not just FIT.

Some retailers offer high feed-in rates but have higher daily supply charges or peak tariffs.

  • If you have or plan to install a battery, prioritise a plan with lower usage charges rather than high FIT, because a battery allows you to use more of your own power instead of exporting it.

  • Review your plan every 6–12 months as retailers frequently update their rates and new offers become available.

Maximise The Performance

  1. Monitor Your App Regularly:
  • Check your Inverter/battery app immediately after being ylay.
  • Solar Feed-in is – If the app goes ‘offline, it’s usually just a Wi-Fi issue.

2. Your Energy Usage for maximum benefits:

  • Use high-load appliances during the day.
  • Let the battery cu the evening before solar generation starts.

3. Update Your Electricity Retailer Plan

  • Confirm Solar Feed-inTariff (FiT) enabled.

  • Check if your current retailer offers the best FiT for battery homes.

  •  Avoid switching retailers before feed-in is activated.

*If the app shows zero data, your system is still generating -your Wifi is disconnected.
