EverySolar 2.0 Pty Ltd offers a comprehensive services warranty on all solar systems we sold. Services warranty includes for any defects in the work carried out by our qualified installers when installing a solar system at a residential premises.

Who receives the benefit of this warranties?

This warranty applies to the residential customer named in the solar system installation agreement entered into with EverySolar 2.0 Pty Ltd from date of install.

Scope of warranties

The warranties covers any defects that arise from the workmanship in installing your solar panels and solar inverter at the premises specified in the solar system installation Agreement.

Where the warranty applies, we will either (at its discretion and cost):

Re-do or repair the installation; or replace any faulty part with a comparable new or refurbished part so that the installation is no longer defective.

Inverter Warranty

The inverter warranty is specified specified on the quote. It is always at a minimum a 5 years(parts +labour), but often an additional 5 extended years (parts only) warranty.

Inverter warranty covers the cost of labour and materials for any repair or replacement of a faulty inverter during the agreed period, beginning on installation date. If the inverter is replaced, the remainder of the warranty entitlement will be transferred to the replacement device. Unless specified otherwise in your quote.

Panel Warranty

Panel warranty (specified on the quote) comes with a minimum 10-25 year warranty. The panel warranty covers defects due to faulty workmanship or materials for minimum of 10-25 years depending on different brands.

The term “performance warranty”, unless otherwise specified, all other manufacturers’ panel performance warranties stipulate that the solar panels will be working at 80% of their original system efficiency output for 25 years.

Rail (Array frame) Warranty

Rail (Array frame) warranty (specified on the quote) comes with a 10 years warranty as serviced by the manufacturer (Antaisolar).

Installation Warranty

For all work except the installation of a switchboard, the installation warranty period is 5 years from the date of completion of the installation.

For work related to the installation of a switchboard, the installation warranty period is 1 year from the date of the installation of the switchboard.

Installation does not cover the system or any of its components, including the performance of the panels or the inverter supplied from the contracting company (which may be covered by separate manufacturer warranties and under law).

The Retailer warrants that the Solar System Installation (which for the avoidance of doubt, includes the operation and performance of the whole PV system, including workmanship and products) will be fit for purpose and free of defects for the entire a period of 5 years.

Installation warranty exclusions:

– Improper use of the solar system;
– Failure to comply with manufacturer instructions;
– work on the system (including & not limited to modifying, moving or relocating any part of the system, even if temporary)
– Performed by someone other than EverySolar 2.0 Pty Ltd or our contractor installer;
– You have not adhered to maintenance requirements
– Any act, omission, misuse, abuse, or damage caused by the customer or a third party;
– Any extreme weather not for the location in which the system was installed
– Interference from other devices;
– General wear and tear;
– Events outside of design range caused by the distributor or network operator;
– Failure to promptly notify EverySolar 2.0 Pty Ltd of any defects.

You need to regularly (3 months) check your system is working properly; or any works or parts which were not part of the installation Agreement.

Please provide all reasonable assistance to us to help diagnose and remedy any defects over the phone. If you do not do so, costs to attend your premise may not be covered by this installation warranty.

Claim under this warranty, you will need to provide:

1. Your name 2. Address 3. Contact detail 4. Customer reference number 5. Outline of the nature of the installation defect & Evidence of the installation defect.

You have other statutory rights

This warranty applies in addition to any statutory rights or remedies you may have, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
